Have you ever wanted to order takeout food and tried to Google a particular restaurant, only to find that they don’t have a website or even an on-line menu? Nothing frustrates me more. If you were that customer would you still pick up the phone and call them, or would you simply look for another restaurant?

People use the internet to find information

  • Research a new product
  • Find a solution to a problem
  • Compare prices
  • Find a local business address
  • Shopping outside of regular business hours (CONVENIENCE)

People use the Internet for the convenience of being able to get the information – when they want it. We no longer have to wait until regular business hours to get the information we want. I know that some people still don’t use the Internet – that person could even be you. The BIG question is – Do you want to the large percentage of people using the Internet to be able to find you? If you aren’t on-line with your business, you could be losing business to your competitors who are on-line.

You don’t need to personally use credit cards to know that it is good business practice to accept them. People like the convenience of using credit cards to make purchases. You don’t even have to like plastic money, but you can accept payments from your customers. Having a website for your business is not for your benefit, it is for your customers benefit! If you don’t have a merchant account for your business, I can even help you with that.
